Hi Greatlife!
Because of my passionate commitment to environmental issues, I spent several years following a diet based solely on Swedish ingredients, mainly those I grew myself on my allotment. Other foods, like meat, eggs, milk, rapeseed oil, and grains, I bought from farmers within about a hundred-kilometre radius of the city. I rarely ate fish and only had fruit like apples and occasionally pears. During the winter, the only "vegetables" allowed by this local diet were cabbage, turnip, carrot, beetroot, parsnip, and potatoes. After just three years, I began to feel tired and unmotivated. I started reading more about nutrition and the diets of different indigenous peoples and soon realised that the food I was eating was very low in vitamins and minerals. I also understood that it would take a long time to "recover" without the help of various supplements. That's when I found Greatlife. It felt completely right for me to take vitamins and minerals derived from real food, wholefood. I started taking extra supplements of vitamin D, zinc, selenium, and magnesium. This quickly made me feel much better. Now, I’m planning to gradually reduce these stronger supplements and switch to multivitamin tablets, which contain lower amounts of more vitamins and minerals. We'll see how it goes, and I hope the sun keeps shining! :)
