Sunshine Story: Low Mood & Lack of Joy – Magnesium Helped

I started taking magnesium just over two months ago, and after only two days, I noticed that my feelings of sadness and lack of joy (which I've struggled with for most of my adult life) began to turn around!

According to Tarleton and Littenberg, there is a significant link between low magnesium intake and feelings of sadness. Eby and Eby state that it is well known that magnesium deficiency can cause negative changes in the nervous system. A lack of magnesium in brain cells damages them, which can manifest as sadness. Eby and Eby also propose a hypothesis that magnesium deficiency, combined with excess calcium and stress, can cause many cases of sadness, irritability, confusion, insomnia, and headaches.
